    আওরঙ্গজেব আল-সুলতান আল-আজম ওয়াল খাকান আল-মুকাররম আবুল মুজাফফর মুহি উদ-দিন মুহাম্মদ আওরঙ্গজেব বাহাদুর আলমগীর I, বাদশা গাজী, প্রথম আলমগীর নামেও পরিচিত (নভেম্বর ৩, ১৬১৮ – মার্চ ৩, ১৭০৭) ১৬৫৮ খ্রিষ্টাব্দ থেকে মৃত্যুর আগ পর্যন্ত ৪৯ বছর মুঘল সাম্রাজ্যের শাসক ছিলেন প্রকৃতপক্ষে তিনি প্রায় সম্পূর্ণ ভারতীয় উপমহাদেশ শাসন করেছিলেন, তার ফতোয়ায়ে আলমগীরীর শরিয়াহ আইন এবং ইসলামি অর্থনীতির মাধ্যমে। তিনি ছিলেন বাবর, হুমায়ুন, আকবর, জাহাঙ্গীর এবং শাহ জাহানের পরে ষষ্ঠ মুঘল সম্রাট। তিনি সম্রাট শাহজাহানের পুত্র।
